On The Move Again

March 28 through April 4, 2010

On Palm Sunday, March 28 Courtney and Cassandra were baptized. I attached a few pictures of the event.

After Easter services we went to Courtney’s Grandparents for Dinner. I attached a few pictures of the table settings. There is always a crowd and plenty to eat. I provided two casseroles of my homemade Mac & Cheese. No leftovers to take home.

April 5 through April 13, 2010

We are on the move again and left on April 5th for Texas. We will be staying in Rockport until April 16. The weather has been rather nice at times a little humid, partly cloudy and windy.

On Saturday, April 10 we went to the Texas Maritime Museum, which was rather interesting. We was going to go to the Sand Sculpture Fest but the lines to get on the Ferry were long so we thought that we would wait until Sunday. We had stopped by the Chamber of Commerce to see what else was in the area to see. The lady there told us that if we just wanted to see the Sculptures and wanted to take a chance that it didn’t rain to wait until Monday and go over to see them. The Fest was running from Friday to Sunday and was suppose to get over a thousand people attending. Sounded like a good idea and it worked out beautifully for picture taking. No crowds to put up with and we got some good shots of the sculptures.

On Sunday, April 11 we went to see The Big Tree in Goose Island State Park by Lamar, Texas.

On Monday, April 12 had gone over to Port Aransas to see the Sand Sculptures. We also stopped by a Birding area to check it out. A few pictures attached from both.

Today, Tuesday, April 13 we drove around the area here in Fulton/Rockport to check it out and see what else is around. Didn't really find anything of interest so we went back to Port Aransas to the Beach again.

Left Tucson and headed to Benson for St. David RV Park to spend 4 days.
